Clinton our 100th child

Clinton is our 100th child!

Clinton is 7 years old, and lives with his mother in a hut located in our project area of Mbale. His father has passed away. As there were no available jobs for Clinton’s mother, she was also not in a position to enable her son to attend a nursery school.

hope has now sponsored Clinton’s attendance in his first year of school, and Clinton has experienced a structured day for the first time. This guarantees him the following:

a warm meal and clean drinking water on a daily basis

a school uniform and shoes, and

books and other materials required for school.

100 children and teenagers from the ages of 3 to 15 years are guaranteed a humane routine by the now direct support provided by hope. At the same time, the relatives of the children and teenagers – in most cases, single mothers and grandmothers – experience an immediate easing of burden, because they themselves are not in a position to ensure a child’s attendance at nursery school or school, nor can they provide for basic medical treatment. In fact, they usually do not have the means available for regular meals.

We are currently still looking for sponsors for 32 children in need.

For €10 a month, you can guarantee your sponsored child the opportunity of enjoying a humane and self-determined life, which can, at the end of the day, only be obtained through education (and training) – especially in Africa.

Luckyly Clinton found already a sponsor. We are very happy for that. A big Thank to the sponsor!
